Abstract

National development is a reflection of the will to improve the welfare and prosperity of the Indonesian people in a fair and equitable manner, as well as to develop social life and the administration of a democratic state based on Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution. Based on the legal provisions contained in Article 16 letter (b) of the Law Number 25 of 2007 concerning Investment states that every investment is responsible for completing all obligations and losses if the investment stops or leaves or abandons its business activities unilaterally. Accountability comes from the word responsibility. The PT ADS case is one of the fraudulent investment cases that is detrimental to society. This case is a lesson for the public to be more careful in investing. Communities must ensure that the investment company they choose has a license from the Financial Services Authority (OJK)
